Synopsis:
“Children of Eden” is a musical that explores the timeless stories of the Book of Genesis. The show begins with the creation of the world and the first humans, Adam and Eve, who live in harmony with nature and each other until they disobey God’s commandment and are banished from the Garden of Eden.
The second act of the show follows the story of Noah and the Great Flood, as he and his family are tasked with building an ark and saving the animals of the world from the impending disaster. Despite the doubts of his neighbors and the ridicule of his family, Noah remains faithful to God’s plan and ultimately saves humanity from extinction.
Throughout the musical, themes of love, family, faith, and redemption are explored, as characters grapple with the consequences of their actions and the uncertain future of their world. With an inspiring score by Stephen Schwartz, the creator of hit musicals like “Wicked” and “Godspell,” “Children of Eden” is a moving and thought-provoking retelling of some of the most enduring stories in human history.
