VOLUNTEERS & ADULT PARTICIPANTS

At New Castle Playhouse, the safety of our performers, crew, and guests is our top priority. All individuals over the age of 18 participating in productions must obtain and submit two state-required clearances.

This requirement applies to:

  • Production Staff (Age 18+)

  • Volunteers (Age 18+)

  • Production Assistants & Crew (Age 18+)

  • Cast Members (Age 18+)

Required Clearances (Free for Volunteers)

Please complete the following two clearances as a volunteer to receive them at no cost.
All submitted clearances must be current.

1. Child Abuse History Clearance

Issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services

2.Criminal Record Check

Issued by the Pennsylvania State Police

Request Now

Once you have received your clearance documents (usually via email), copies may be submitted to your producer or director.
